In this Valentine’s Day workshop, we’ll explore the heart as a layered symbol—holding both light and shadow, tenderness and strength. Love isn’t one-note, and our stitched work will reflect its yin and yang.

I’ll guide you through creating a hand-embroidered heart or personal symbol using thread, beads, and sequins, with an emphasis on texture and intuitive design. You’re welcome to make something classic, abstract, or quietly talismanic—an object shaped by what love means, or doesn't mean, to you right now.

I'll open my bins of fabric, beads, rhinestones, sequins, and trinkets and you'll get to pick the colors and textures to collage a tangible textile form.

No prior embroidery experience is needed. This is a relaxed class focused on slow making, improvisational stitching, personal expression, material exploration, and honoring your heart.

For this Valentine's Day event, drinks and snacks will be provided!

You’ll leave this 2.5 hour workshop with an adorned handmade object to hang, to hold, or to wear as a pin.
